Long Beach, California Rapper Snoop Dogg will appear at the New York Stock Exchange on Monday (November 16th) where he will host the 2nd Annual "Mentoring Madness" event.
Snoop Dogg, along with Blake Mycoskie, Founder and Chief Shoe Giver of Tom Shoes, Steven Hanson founder and president of B. R. Guest Restaurants and Barry Sternlicht, Chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital Group, will ring the opening bell on Monday afternoon, before they give a global speech regarding mentoring and entrepreneurship.
Each of the participants will take part in a global webcast, which is a discussion on entrepreneurship lead by CNBC's Maria Bartiromo.
Also, the winner of the MTVU "Movers and Changers" competition will be selected and receive $25,000 and start up funds.
"This is a great opportunity to explore entrepreneurship with true success stories in business. I am delighted to talk financial literacy to the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors," Bartiromo said. "Will hear the pivotal points in their business plan development, their major influences, the steps they took to take their ideas to the next level and the resources they used to start a new enterprise and achieve their dreams."
"Mentoring Madness" takes place November 16th at 9:45am- 11:00am, while Global Entrepreneurship Week takes place from November 16th - November 22nd.
