Duck Down Releases 2005 "Triple Threat" Box Set

Diehard Boot Camp Clik and Duck Down Records fans recognize 2005 as a benchmark year for the veteran New York imprint. While releases like Black Moon's 1993 Enta Da Stage and Smif N Wessun's 1995 Dah Shinin' set the stage for the Boot Camp Clik's '90s brand, 2005 found success in three releases that would direct the label to its recent glory.

These albums partnered the Brooklyn collective with southern, Justus League production, led by 9th Wonder and helped form a restored identity for Sean Price as he switched names and went solo for a period. The critical and commercial success of all three releases helped Duck Down expand into the latter half of this decade.

Sean Price's Monkey Barz, Buckshot & 9th Wonder's Chemistry and Smif N' Wessun's Reloaded will be packaged together, and released as "Triple Threat" November 24.

The three releases will don a new CD jacket, created by Marc Ecko, and sold for the price of one album.

2009 Duck Down releases have included albums from Torae & Marco Polo, Skyzoo, B-Real and Buckshot & KRS-One.
