Dillanthology To Release March 31

Author: Jake Paine

After Delicious Vinyl Records released 2007's Jay Deelicious, a collection of late '90s works of the then-Slum Village member's production with the Los Angeles label, another J Dilla anthology is set to release. March 31, Rapster/BBE will release Dillanthology, a 13 track collection of Dilla's production, spanning his career.

Included on the release, rumored to be part of a new series on the producer, are singles such as Common's "The Light" [click to read], "Stakes Is High" by De La Soul and "Didn't Cha Know" by songstress Erykah Badu.

The release also acknowledges deeper cuts, such as A.G.'s "Hip Hop Quotable" and Busta Rhymes' 2000 "Show Me What You Got" [click to read].

Rapster/BBE was home to Dilla's (then as Jay Dee) 2001 seminal release Welcome To Detroit as well as his posthumous 2006 The Shining album.
