Saigon And Statik Selektah Finish 24-Hour Album

Author: Edwin Ortiz

Anyone questioning Saigon’s work ethic in 2008 should take note of his 2009 grind. After trading diss records with one of Hip Hop’s most honorable battle rappers in Joe Budden, and stating Warning Shots 2 is coming soon, Saigiddy fans’ expectations for The Greatest Story Never Told are sky high. However, as if that wasn’t enough, “The Yardfather” has reportedly created another full project with beatsmith Statik Selektah.

In a recent YouTube clip, the two Hip Hop phenoms discussed their newly finished album together, which was made in just one day. “Twenty four hours my nigga, me and Statik Selektah made this album in one day… No money, no nothing, just niggas that love Hip Hop,” Saigon explained.

Confessing that a few verses have been used before, Saigon made it clear that the majority of his material is completely new, adding, “This is 95 percent original shit. You might have heard one or two verses before from a freestyle or something. Other than that, it’s brand new.”

According to Statik Selektah, the title of the album is All In A Days Work, and it will be available soon through the Internet.
