The lyrical giant, who most Hip-Hop aficionados refer to as the 'God MC,' unleashes the first official single, Walk These Streets, from his exceedingly overdue, third solo opus, The Seventh Seal.
On the Maino featured head-nodder, Ra spits, "Just don't get in the way/ Cause at the end of the day/ My agenda's make sure I get them ends to get paid/ So I'm stacking grands to a math expand/ It's the man with the master plan." The slickly layered track was laced by Needlz, and contains a sample from Busta Rhymes' Been Through The Storm.
On November 17, Rakim Allah will finally release his epic The Seventh Seal. The stellar effort hosts guest appearance from, the above mentioned, Rhymes, Jadakiss, Styles P, up-n-coming Brooklyn rapper, IQ, and even the Rakim's own daughter, Destiny Griffin. Other producers on the set besides Needlz include; Nick Wiz, who handled the majority of the project, Jake One, DJ Slyce, and Poppa Pillz.
Holy Are You, the album's intellectual warm up joint, has already received tons of praise from fans and critics alike. Expect nothing less from this super-solid, follow-up offering.
