Krumb Snatcha Enlists Pete Rock, Xtra P, Beatminerz for New LP

By Ismael AbduSalaam

After a five year hiatus, underground standout Krumb Snatcha will return in March with his third LP, Hidden Scriptures.

Even without a full length release in the last half decade, Krumb has remained busy with numerous guest spots with Guru, Pete Rock, Termanology, Tony Touch, Craig G, Ed OG, and Afu Ra.

Now an industry veteran of over ten years, Krumb feels as a sincere artist his music must reflect his growth as a human being.

On the Pete Rock-produced “Begins,” Krumb speaks on undergoing a spiritual death of his old rap persona and wanting to give the public a true offering of his renewed spirit.

"The vibe was totally different on this one,” Krumb revealed to AllHipHop.com. “I wanted to show everyone the other side of me. I feel like I've been walking in the dark for too long and I wanted to give the people my inner me."

According to Krumb Snatcha, it is important that today’s Hip-Hop start reflecting the social issues and challenges of the people it’s supposed to speak for.

"Music should give people a mood. Whether it's a dark one, or an uplifting one, it should explain the matters of heart,” Krumb explained. "This album was not to offend anybody, its sole purpose is to inspire. I believe with this contribution fans can see more to the artist than just skills, we are human too.”

The lead single for the project is the Beatminerz-produced “Feeling.”

Additional confirmed producers for the LP include Large Professor, Statik Selektah, Karimbo, and Nickel Plated.

Hidden Scriptures is set for release on March 10.
