While in recent years VH1 has come to be known for its
reality television programming, the cable network is returning to its
music roots for a new series called Soundclash. The show is being executive produced by The Roots drummer Questlove.
Soundclash will feature three different acts performing hits,
covers, and collaborations together on stage. The first episode airing
July 23rd will include Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy, and London Grammar. One
week later Ed Sheeran, Sia, and Grouplove will be the featured artists.
Superstar DJ Diplo will serve as host.
