Public Enemy, M-Audio And Obey Host Remix Contest

Author: Jake Paine 9hiphopdx.com)

Public Enemy has encouraged fans to remix records previously. After 2002's Revolverlution, an album that featured classic tracks remixed by Paris and The Molemen, the group has linked with Obey and M-Audio to offer a full home recording studio to one lucky producer.

The song to remix is "Harder Than You Think" from last year's How To Sell Soul To A Soulless People Who Sold Their Soul album [click to read]. The accapella is available [click here], and contest rules.

The winner will receive a full home studio as well as their remix pressed on limited edition 7" vinyl on Obey Records, with cover designed by famed Obey artist Shepard Fairey. All proceeds from the sale of the record will go to The Boys & Girls Club of America.

The contest runs through September.
