"Damn Son Where Did You Find This?" Book Explores Mixtape Cover Art Evolution
A Swedish publisher pressed a book on the history and importance of mixtape cover art in American Hip Hop.
A Swedish company put together a book on the vast collection of US Hip Hop mixtape cover art, according to The New York Times.

The book, Damn Son Where Did You Find This?: A Book About U.S. Hip-Hop Mixtape Cover Art, explores the history of tape artwork from the 1980s up to the present, although they leave out the early to mid-2000s.

KidEight, Miami Kaos, Mike Rev, Tansta and Skrilla are interviewed by authors Tobias Hansson and Michael Thorsby, who largely concentrate their book on the fantastical elements of mixtape design work.

Mixtape covers featuring Eminem, 2 Chainz and Jeezy are among those featured in Damn Son Where Did You Find This?: A Book About U.S. Hip-Hop Mixtape Cover Art.
Damn Son Where Did You Find This? was released in a limited capacity (400), but interested parties can still contact the creators for orders.
