A3C and iStandard are partnering once again for the Pro-Audio
Experience at this year’s A3C Hip Hop Festival. As part of the 3-day
event, longtime Jay Z engineer/mixer Young Guru will issue the keynote
address and Roc Nation producer Symbolyc One (S1) will conduct the “How
To Make Your Drums Bigger” lecture. There will also be a panel
discussion on sampling featuring Diamond D, Spearhead X, M16 Beats, Kato
and 808 Blake of SMKA.
The focus on the people behind the boards will also include
the iStandard Producer Showcase. The tournament pits 24 young producers
against each other as they are judged by industry heavyweights S1,
M16, EZ Elpee, The Fr3shmen, The Olympicks, and Needlz.
A3C founder Brian Knott’s ”3 Questions” interview series featuring DJ
Premier, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Diamond D, and more will also be filmed
throughout the A3C Pro-Audio Experience.
The A3C Pro-Audio Experience takes place October 4-6. The event is free to the public. To register visit

The entire A3C Hip Hop Festival takes place October 2-6 in Atlanta, Georgia.
