So the question remains will Kendrick Lamar’s next LP be scheduled for this year as well? Apparently, the answer is yes.
In the new Billboard cover story featuring K. Dot and Q, Top Dawg reveals Kendrick’s follow-up to the platinum selling good kid, m.A.A.d city could be available this fall.
TDE co-president Dave Free adds that fans may be able to get the highly anticipated Black Hippy compilation project before the end of the year as well.
The Billboard article reads:
Meanwhile, Free thinks the long-awaited debut from Black Hippy – the supergroup featuring Lamar, Q, [Jay] Rock and Ab-Soul – is likely to appear in 2014; Tiffith indicates that TDE is planning to release a new Lamar album this coming September, too.
