Kid Frost Launches $150 Million Fund For Hip-Hop Content

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Frost (aka Kid Frost) is heading up a new Hip-Hop Company that has secured over $150 million to fund production for movies and television programs in 2012.

X-Change has teamed with Frost’s Old West Entertainment to produce and distribute a slate of about 15-20 feature films in the $3-million to $15-million budget range.

According to Frost, born Arturo Molina Jr., Old West is a rising Hip-Hop conglomerate that develops music, television shows and movies.

“The thing that keeps my name in people’s mouths is that I keep reinventing myself,” Frost told AllHipHop.com. “I don’t just keep on making the same music.”

The company, which also specializes in talent management, production, and finance organization, also plans on representing high-profile directors, producers, writers, and entertainment companies.

The new company plans to distribute a slate of 15-20 feature films in the $3-million to $15-million budget range.
